Corrections Policy
Our commitment
We aim for every News & Judgements update to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and openly.
How to report an error
If you believe an update contains a factual error — a wrong date, party, citation, figure or outcome — tell us through our customer support page, quoting the address of the update and what you believe is wrong. Where possible, point us to the original judgement, order or notification.
How we correct
A reported error is checked by an updates manager against the primary source. A confirmed error is corrected in the update itself, and the update's modified date changes to show that it has been revised. An update that cannot be corrected is withdrawn.
Clarifications
Where an update is accurate but could be misread, we may add a clarification rather than change the original text.
