What this policy covers

This policy describes how White Collar Professional researches, writes, reviews and publishes the News & Judgements section and the court, tribunal and regulator pages under it.

Who writes and who reviews

Every update is written by a member of our updates team and is reviewed by a separate updates manager before it is published. An update is never published by the same person who approves it. Each published update carries a byline naming its author, or the WCP Legal Desk where an update is prepared by the desk.

Sources

Updates report on judgements, orders, notifications and circulars issued by courts, tribunals and regulators. Each update names its primary source and, where one is publicly available, links to it, so a reader can check the original.

Independence

News & Judgements content is not paid for or sponsored. Professionals listed on the platform do not write, approve or influence updates about matters they are involved in.

Not professional advice

Updates summarise developments for chartered professionals. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for any particular situation.
