Ashneer Grover, former BharatPe Managing Director, withdrew his pleas from the NCLT and NCLAT after reaching a settlement with BharatPe. The settlement, finalized on September 30, 2024, ends all legal disputes between Grover and BharatPe. As part of the agreement, Grover will not be associated with BharatPe in any capacity, and his shares will be managed by his family trust. Both parties agreed to drop all pending civil and criminal cases. Grover had initially filed a plea alleging his ouster from BharatPe was arbitrary and aimed at clawing back his shares. The settlement marks the end of a tumultuous period marked by allegations of financial misconduct against Grover and his family during his tenure at BharatPe12.
