Celcius Logistics Bags INR 250 Cr To Expand Presence In Non-Metro Citi...
Cold-chain logistics startup Celcius Logistics has secured ₹250 crore in a Series B funding round led by a consortium of venture capital firms and strategic investors. The company plans to utilize these funds to expand its temperature-controlled warehouse network across 15 tier-2 and tier-3 cities over the next 18 months. Celcius currently operates a fleet of 500+ refrigerated vehicles serving clients in pharmaceuticals, dairy, and processed food sectors. The funding will also support technology upgrades including IoT-enabled tracking systems and AI-based route optimization tools. With this expansion, Celcius aims to capture a larger share of India's $15 billion cold chain market, which is growing at 15% annually due to increasing demand for perishable goods transportation. The startup differentiates itself through its last-mile delivery solutions for temperature-sensitive products in smaller towns.
