The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) extended the RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) scheme benefits for Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units till September 2025 and for AA/EOU/SEZ units till December 2024. This extension is aimed at boosting export competitiveness by offsetting duties and taxes not refunded under existing mechanisms. The extension provides relief to exporters by ensuring continued cost competitiveness in international markets.
