Exclusive: BharatPe Raises INR 125 Cr Debt From Neo Group, Trifecta
Fintech major BharatPe has secured ₹125 crore in debt financing from Neo Group and Trifecta Capital to strengthen its lending operations. The funds will primarily support the company's merchant cash advance products and loan portfolio expansion. This comes as BharatPe reported 58% revenue growth in FY24 and achieved EBITDA positivity in core segments. The debt round provides non-dilutive capital as the company prepares for a potential IPO in 2026-27. BharatPe plans to disburse over ₹5,000 crore in loans to small merchants this fiscal year through its NBFC arm. The company has been focusing on sustainable growth after resolving previous governance issues, including exiting non-core businesses. This financing follows BharatPe's successful turnaround strategy and demonstrates investor confidence in its revised business model focused on profitable growth in merchant financial services.
