GSTN (Goods and Services Tax Network) has announced Phase III changes to Table 12 of GSTR-1 and GSTR-1A, which will include an HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) dropdown menu, effective from April 2025. These changes aim to simplify the process of reporting HSN codes for goods and services in the GST returns, reducing errors and improving the accuracy of the data being filed by taxpayers.
