GSTN: Resolution Underway for Duplicate Invoices in GSTR-2B for September and October 2024

The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has identified an issue where some taxpayers are seeing duplicate invoices in GSTR-2B for both September and October 2024. The GSTN team is actively working to resolve this matter and assures taxpayers that the issue is being addressed on priority. Taxpayers are requested to raise tickets at the GST self-service portal and share the ticket numbers via direct message for assistance. As per the advisory issued by GSTN on September 3, 2024, GSTR-2B will not be generated for Month M-1 and M-2 for QRMP taxpayers, who will receive GSTR-2B on a quarterly basis only. Additionally, rate-wise details of invoices in GSTR-2B generated through the Invoice Management System (IMS) will not be available; taxpayers are advised to refer to GSTR-2A for such information. The GSTN team is committed to resolving the issue promptly to ensure accurate and reliable tax reporting for all taxpayers.
