Gujarat High Court Launches Free Of Cost And Cashless Medical Facility For Judges, Staff And Their Family Members
The Gujarat High Court has introduced a free and cashless medical facility for its judges, judicial officers, staff employees, and their dependent family members. This initiative, guided by Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and the High Court Medical Facility Committee, aims to provide accessible healthcare without financial burdens. A dedicated medical facility has been established within the High Court premises, offering general medical services. For specialized treatments, the High Court has partnered with seven government hospitals, including institutions for cardiology, cancer treatment, ophthalmology, and kidney transplants. These hospitals will provide free and cashless healthcare services. Additionally, three hospitals have signed memorandums of understanding to offer cashless medical treatment, with bills generated for reimbursement after treatment. This initiative ensures comprehensive healthcare coverage for the High Court’s workforce and their families, addressing both general and specialized medical needs.
