ICAI joins CAG to Strengthen Capacity of PSUs Audit Officers

The ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) has collaborated with the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) with the objective of strengthening the capacity and capabilities of audit officers who are involved in auditing Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This partnership aims to leverage the expertise of ICAI in the fields of accounting, auditing standards, and financial management to enhance the skills and knowledge of CAG officials responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of government-owned entities. By improving the auditing capabilities within the CAG, this initiative seeks to promote greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of public sector finances and operations.
