Drone manufacturer ideaForge reported a consolidated net loss of INR 13.7 Cr in Q2 FY25, a significant decline from a net profit of INR 90 Lakh in the same period last year. Despite a 56.52% increase in operating revenue to INR 37.1 Cr, the company faced a negative EBITDA of INR 10 Cr, compared to a positive EBITDA of INR 7 Cr in Q2 FY24. The loss is attributed to increased operational costs and investments in scaling up production and R&D. The company had previously posted a profit of INR 1.16 Cr in the preceding quarter, highlighting the volatility in its financial performance. IdeaForge’s focus on expanding its product portfolio and market reach has led to higher expenses, impacting its profitability in the short term.
