IndiaMART Picks Up Remaining 34% Stake In Livekeeping For INR 27 Cr
IndiaMART has acquired the remaining 34% stake in Livekeeping for INR 27 crore, completing its 100% ownership of the SaaS-based accounting automation platform. The B2B marketplace initially invested in Livekeeping in 2021 through its subsidiary IndiaMART InterMESH. This buyout comes as Livekeeping expanded its user base to over 15,000 SMEs with its automated bookkeeping solutions. The acquisition strengthens IndiaMART's SME tech stack beyond lead generation into financial automation. Livekeeping will continue operating independently while integrating its solutions with IndiaMART's SME ecosystem. The deal values Livekeeping at approximately INR 80 crore, representing a 3x return for early investors. IndiaMART plans to scale Livekeeping's product offerings and cross-sell to its 7 million+ registered business users. This strategic move positions IndiaMART as a comprehensive digital solutions provider for Indian SMEs beyond its core classifieds business.
