MakeMyTrip to acquire Happay from CRED to strengthen corporate travel offerings

MakeMyTrip has acquired Happay, an expense management platform, from CRED to strengthen its corporate travel offerings. The acquisition includes Happay’s brand, business, and team, while its payments business will remain with CRED. This move aims to enhance MakeMyTrip’s position in the corporate travel and expense management space. Happay’s expertise and client base will complement MakeMyTrip’s existing corporate services, including MyBiz and Quest2Travel. The transaction is expected to close in 90 days. This acquisition aligns with MakeMyTrip’s strategy to offer comprehensive solutions for corporate travel and expense management.
