NPCI To Build UPI-Like Payments Platform In Trinidad & Tobago

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is working on building a UPI-like payments platform for Trinidad and Tobago. This initiative is part of NPCI’s strategy to expand its payment infrastructure internationally. The platform will enable real-time digital payments in the Caribbean nation, replicating the success of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in India. NPCI’s global expansion underscores India’s leadership in digital payments and the export of its financial technologies to other countries.
