The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulatory authority for India's capital markets, has taken strict action against Varyaa Creations and its directors, imposing a ban of three years on their participation in the securities market. This punitive action was taken after SEBI's investigation revealed that the company had diverted proceeds raised through its Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) initial public offering (IPO). The regulator found that a significant amount of ₹8.2 crore was misused by the company, contrary to the disclosures made in its offer document to investors.
