Beyond the initial seizure of benami property documents, the latest operation uncovered more incriminating evidence. The officer's staff, including her orderly and driver, were questioned extensively about their involvement in cash handling and property transactions. \r
Purushottam Chavan, the arrested husband, will be produced in court on Monday, and the ED may seek an extension of his custody. Chavan's connections with businessman Rajesh Batreja, allegedly involved in hawala transactions, are under scrutiny as part of the ongoing investigation into the fraud case.
