ACME Solar files for a ₹3,000-cr IPO to power its aggressive expansion
New Delhi: ACME Solar Holdings has filed for a ₹3,000 crore IPO to fund aggressive green energy expansion, including new solar and wind projects. The draft red herring prospectus reveals 1,320 MW of operational solar capacity and 1,650 MW under construction. The IPO will issue up to ₹2,000 crore in fresh shares, with ₹1,000 crore from a promoter group offer. Funds will repay debt and support general corporate needs. ACME Solar, a top 10 Indian renewable energy producer, reported a net profit of ₹689.22 crore in FY 2023-24. The offer will be managed by Nuvama Wealth, ICICI Securities, JM Financial, Kotak Mahindra, and Motilal Oswal.
