The Ambani family, through promoter group firms, has infused ₹15,825 crore into Jio Financial Services (JFS) via a preferential issue of convertible warrants. This significant capital infusion will raise the promoter stake to over 54% and is intended to strengthen JFS's balance sheet. The funds will be used to support its ambitious "super app" strategy, which includes expanding its offerings in lending, insurance, and payments, positioning it for long-term growth.
