The Jharkhand High Court reiterated that unless there's an interim no-coercive measure order issued during the anticipatory bail application, warrants, proclamations, and attachments can be issued against the accused. In a case where a proclamation was issued under Section 82 of the Cr.P.C. during the pendency of the anticipatory bail application, the court found the bail application not maintainable. \r
Citing the case of Srikant Upadhyay & Others Versus State of Bihar & Another, the court emphasized that filing an anticipatory bail petition doesn't bar proceedings against the accused. Since no interim order restraining coercive measures was issued, the court dismissed the appeal against the rejection of anticipatory bail.
