The Gujarat High Court mandated measures to prevent Asiatic lion deaths on railway tracks, following fatalities in Amreli. The court instructed reducing train speeds, improving locomotive headlights, clearing vegetation around tracks, and constructing underpasses. A High-Level Committee involving railway and forest officials was formed to implement these measures and investigate past incidents.
