AstraZeneca India is investing $30 million (₹250 crore) to expand its Global Innovation and Technology Centre (GITC) in Chennai, making it the largest Global Capability Centre (GCC) worldwide. The expansion will create 1,300 new jobs and enhance operations with AI, data science, and supply chain analytics. The facility will grow by 180,000 square feet and aims to boost healthcare innovation and economic development.
