Bajaj Housing Finance, a subsidiary of Bajaj Finance, has filed papers with SEBI for an IPO to raise Rs 7,000 crore. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of up to Rs 4,000 crore and an offer for sale worth Rs 3,000 crore by Bajaj Finance. \r
The funds will bolster the company's capital base for future needs, adhering to RBI's requirement for upper-layer NBFCs to be listed by September 2025. Bajaj Housing Finance, registered with the National Housing Bank, offers financial solutions for property purchase and renovation. The IPO comes as Aadhar Housing Finance and India Shelter Finance recently went public. \r
