Calcutta High Court Grants Bail To Former TMC MLA Arabul Islam Accused In Murder Of ISF Leader
The Calcutta High Court has granted bail to former TMC MLA Arabul Islam, accused of killing ISF leader Anarul Islam. The court considered Arabul Islam's health condition and observed that he had been in custody for nearly three years without any prior criminal record. Arabul Islam was directed to furnish a bail bond of Rs. 50,000 with two sureties of Rs. 25,000 each. The court also ordered him not to leave the jurisdiction of the trial court without prior permission and to cooperate with the investigation. The case has sparked political controversy in West Bengal
