The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has launched a new "Source from India" feature on its Trade Connect e-platform. This initiative is designed to boost exports by creating a dedicated marketplace for India's "Status Holder" exporters to showcase their products and services to a global audience. Status Holders are recognized by the DGFT based on their high export performance. The new feature will allow them to create detailed product profiles and connect with international buyers who are looking to source goods and services from India. This digital platform aims to enhance the visibility of Indian exporters, facilitate B2B connections, and provide a credible channel for global trade inquiries. By leveraging technology, the DGFT is creating a dynamic ecosystem to support its top exporters and further integrate them into the global supply chain, thereby promoting the "Make in India" initiative on an international scale.
