CBIC Chairman: New Rohtak GST Bhawan Will Improve Connectivity for Taxpayers in Haryana Districts

Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, the Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), inaugurated the GST Bhawan, an official complex of CGST Rohtak Commissionerate in Rohtak, Haryana. \r

The Ministry of Finance stated that the newly inaugurated GST Bhawan is easily accessible and strategically located to serve GST assesses across the main districts of Haryana. Agarwal expressed satisfaction that the project was completed within the allocated budget despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. \r

The efforts of the agencies led by Chief Commissioner CGST Panchkula Zone were appreciated for timely completion. Shashank Priya, a Member of CBIC, highlighted the significance of the new building in boosting the efficiency of officers and staff, especially with the increasing number of GST taxpayers requiring modern facilities for compliance. \r
