The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) extended the online application window for the Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations (MOOWR) scheme on the Invest India portal till November 15, 2025. The MOOWR scheme allows duty deferment on imported goods used in manufacturing and export operations, promoting ease of doing business. The extension ensures more industries can benefit from customs duty efficiency and liquidity management. This move aligns with the government’s Make in India and export promotion initiatives by facilitating manufacturing competitiveness.
