CBIC Issues Clarification on GST for Salvage/Wreck Value in Motor Vehicle Insurance Claims
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) offers startup recognition under the Startup India initiative, providing significant benefits such as tax exemptions for the first three years, funding support, networking opportunities, and government recognition. Startups can also avail themselves of angel tax exemption under Section 56(2)(viib) of the Income Tax Act, provided they meet specific criteria like having a total capital and premium not exceeding Rs 25 crore and avoiding investments in restricted assets. Additionally, Section 80-IAC of the Income Tax Act grants eligible startups a 100% tax deduction for three consecutive years if engaged in innovative or scalable businesses.
