CBIC revises Customs Tariff Values of Edible Oils, Brass Scrap, Areca Nuts, Gold, and Silver
The CBIC has revised the customs tariff values for various goods including edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold, and silver. For edible oils, the tariff values have been updated to Rs. 107 per kg for crude palm oil and Rs. 115 per kg for refined palm oil. Brass scrap's tariff value has been adjusted to Rs. 435 per kg, while areca nuts are now valued at Rs. 174 per kg. Gold and silver tariff values have also been revised; gold is now valued at Rs. 6,641 per 10 grams and silver at Rs. 7,596 per kg. These changes aim to reflect current market conditions and ensure accurate customs duties.
