Chandrababu Naidu-Linked Stocks Surge Rs 20,000 Crore, Outpacing Modi Stocks Post-Election
Following the recent election results, stocks linked to Andhra Pradesh and its Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, surged by approximately Rs 20,000 crore over eight trading days, surpassing "Modi stocks" linked to infrastructure and PSUs. Naidu's pro-reform and industry-friendly policies have gained investor favor. Since his victory on June 4, and his alliance with Modi's NDA, 24 stocks have risen sharply, including Anjani Foods, Crane Infrastructure, Heritage Foods, KCP, The Andhra Sugars, Pennar Industries, and Amara Raja. The combined market cap of these stocks increased by Rs 20,198 crore. Investors are optimistic about Naidu's infrastructure projects and investment plans.
