[Civil Judge Junior Division Exams] Madhya Pradesh High Court Orders Removal Of Ineligible Candidates From Prelims Stage By Applying Amended Recruitment Rules
The Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered the removal of ineligible candidates from the Civil Judge (Entry Level) exams under the Amended Recruitment Rules upheld by the High Court and Supreme Court in April 2024. Candidates allowed to proceed under the old rules must be weeded out, and cut-off marks recomputed.\r
The court emphasized that ineligible candidates' removal would lower the cut-off marks, allowing eligible candidates to advance. Fresh call letters will be issued, and the main exams will be redone for those newly qualifying. This decision follows a review petition by candidates seeking fair evaluation per the new rules, ensuring that only eligible candidates secure appointments. \r
The recruitment process is halted until these measures are implemented.
