Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Moves High Court Seeking Bail In CBI Case Over Alleged Liquor Policy Scam
Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Chief Minister, has approached the Delhi High Court seeking bail in a case related to an alleged liquor policy scam. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has accused Kejriwal and others of causing a loss of over Rs. 1,500 crore to the state exchequer by granting private liquor distribution licenses. Kejriwal argues that the case lacks merit and that he is being politically targeted. The matter is pending before the High Court, which is expected to hear arguments from both sides soon.
