Delhi court to hear Kejriwal's bail plea on June 19 in money laundering case
Delhi's Additional Sessions Judge Mukesh Kumar adjourned Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea in a money laundering case to June 19, following a request by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for time to file a reply. \r
The court also scheduled for Saturday the hearing of Kejriwal's plea to allow his wife to participate via video conference in the medical board assessing his health. The judge directed the jail authorities to submit their response regarding this matter. Asserting Kejriwal's judicial custody, the judge emphasized that the next hearing date would prioritize the accused's convenience over the ED's scheduling preferences. \r
Earlier, on June 5, the court had denied Kejriwal's interim bail application on medical grounds but instructed Tihar jail authorities to attend to his medical needs.
