Delhi High Court Issues Notice To CBI On Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Plea Challenging His Arrest In Liquor Policy Case
The Delhi High Court issued a notice to the CBI in response to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's plea challenging his arrest. Kejriwal sought quashing of the CBI's FIR and arrest warrant, alleging political vendetta. He argued that the CBI lacked jurisdiction to investigate the matter related to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB). The court directed the CBI to file a reply and scheduled the next hearing for August 27.
