Delivery Of Different Watch Instead Of Tommy Hilfiger, Udupi District Commission Holds Myntra And Titan Liable

The Udupi District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission held Myntra and Titan liable for delivering a different watch instead of the ordered Tommy Hilfiger watch and failing to refund the money. The complainant received an Abbas-branded watch instead and faced issues with the return process. Myntra argued it was only an intermediary, but the Commission found both Myntra and Titan jointly liable for deficiency in service, ordering a refund of Rs. 15,495 with 10% interest, and Rs. 10,000 each for mental distress and litigation costs.
