DGFT issues Clarification on IES for Pre and Post shipment Rupee Export Credit Extension

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has clarified the extension of Interest Equalization Scheme (IES) benefits for pre-shipment and post-shipment rupee export credit. The scheme, initially expiring on March 31, 2024, has been extended until March 31, 2025. This extension aims to support exporters amidst economic uncertainties. Exporters can now avail of IES benefits on all eligible export credits disbursed up to the new deadline. This move is part of ongoing efforts to bolster India's export sector amid global challenges.
