DGFT Restores RoDTEP Benefits for AAs, SEZs, and EOUs Effective from June 1, 2025
DGFT reinstates RoDTEP benefits for AAS, SEZs, and EOUs, retroactively applying incentives to boost exports. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has restored the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme benefits for exporters operating under Advance Authorisation (AA) schemes, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and Export-Oriented Units (EOUs). This reinstatement is effective retroactively from June 1, 2025. This significant move aims to compensate these export-oriented units for embedded taxes and duties that are not otherwise remitted, thereby boosting India's exports and ensuring a more level playing field in international trade.
