The Supreme Court criticized a party for bypassing the Orissa High Court's division bench and directly challenging a single-judge's judgment [Registrar, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology v. API Dangua]. \r
Justices PV Sanjay Kumar and Augustine George Masih expressed displeasure, stating such procedural bypass couldn't be allowed. The appeal involved the regularisation of Class IV employees' services at the university. Despite earlier litigation rounds, the appellants directly approached the apex court after the single-judge ruled against them. \r
The Court inclined to dismiss the appeal, questioning the advocate's reasoning. It ordered the matter to be listed in July and maintained interim protection for the appellants until then.
