The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) invites proposals from organizations and startups to develop an Industry 4.0 baseline survey for India's MSME sector, emphasizing digital transformation via 5G. The survey aims to evaluate current Industry 4.0 readiness, especially among MSMEs, to pinpoint enhancements and investment priorities. \r
Spearheaded by the Telecom Centre of Excellence India, the survey will assess MSME challenges in adopting Industry 4.0 and leveraging advanced technologies. It aims to establish a robust ecosystem for leveraging 5G and 6G capabilities, identifying sector-specific needs in ten sectors, and providing targeted support for innovation and competitiveness. \r
Over 60 days, the survey will cover five sectors each in northern and southern India, guiding policy interventions for transformative adoption of Industry 4.0.
