The ACB special court denied bail to the Deputy State Tax Officer implicated in a GST fraud case involving Rs. 2.8 lakhs. \r


Allegedly, the officer, along with another, unlawfully shifted M/s Grow More Electric Vehicles' principal place of business without authorization, resulting in a GST refund of ₹2.87 lakhs without proper scrutiny, causing revenue loss. Seven GST fraud cases were filed against him by the CCS, leading to his arrest. \r


Despite seeking bail, the court refused, considering the seriousness of the allegations and the ongoing inquiry.
