The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Mumbai Zonal Office filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) on 07.05.2024 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Mumbai in a money laundering case involving M/s Jagat Agro Commodities Pvt. Ltd., Sant Lal Aggarwal, Satish Pawa, and others. \r
The Court took cognizance of the PC on 13.06.2024. The case stems from an FIR by CBI Delhi, based on a complaint from SBI against the accused for criminal conspiracy, cheating, and forgery, causing a wrongful loss of Rs. 397.67 Crore to SBI and PNB. \r
ED's investigation revealed fraudulent financial practices involving inflated balance sheets and diversion of loans meant for rice trade.
