Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) announced on Wednesday the acquisition of EvyEnergy, an eMobility software platform, by Zemetric, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging technologies. \r
Founded by Tushar Bohra, Mohit Jain, and Bhabani Mohapatra, alumni of the BTech batch of 2022 from IIT Guwahati, EvyEnergy began as a startup in 2021. The platform facilitates public charging, fleet charging, and destination charging with payment options, boasting nearly 3,000 charging ports on its ChargeConnect platform and mobile app. \r
It is preferred by Charging Point Operators (CPOs) and mobility providers for its user-friendly features, providing real-time insights and control over charging infrastructure through its Cloud Platform. Professor Devendra Jalihal, Director of IIT Guwahati, praised their accomplishments, highlighting IIT Guwahati's role in fostering innovation and excellence among its students.
