Exclusive: Wondrlab to raise fresh funds at $90 Mn valuation
Martech platform Wondrlab is set to raise Rs 40.8 crore (approximately $4.6 million) in a fresh funding round led by Wildflower Private Trust, with participation from existing investors Pi Ventures, Tanas Capital, and angel investors including promoters of Nazara Technologies. This is the first fundraise in four years for Wondrlab since its $7 million seed round in 2021, signaling strong investor confidence. The company’s board approved issuing 7,744 preference shares and 500 equity shares at Rs 49,472 each to raise this sum, valuing the Mumbai-based business at roughly Rs 796 crore ($90 million) post-money. Founded in 2020 by Saurabh Varma, Vandana Verma, and Rakesh Hinduja, Wondrlab operates as a platform-first martech startup specializing in technology, digital, and programmatic advertising. Its latest fiscal performance was impressive, with operating revenue tripling from Rs 63 crore in FY23 to Rs 189 crore in FY24, and profits surging to Rs 11 crore. Pi Ventures will hold an 11.5% stake, Tanas Capital 7.82%, Wildflower 1.5%, while promoters retain a majority stake of 60.53%. Wondrlab plans to further leverage this round to scale technology infrastructure, product development, and market expansion. This funding round reinforces Wondrlab’s growth trajectory and highlights investor appetite for cutting-edge martech businesses capable of delivering scalable digital advertising solutions in India’s evolving marketing ecosystem.
