The Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) has extended a Government of India-supported Line of Credit (LoC) worth USD 23.37 million to the Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana (GO-GUY) for the procurement of two Hindustan 228-201 aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. \r
The agreement, effective from April 08, 2024, stipulates that at least 75% of the contract price's goods, works, and services must be supplied by Indian sellers, with the remaining 25% procured from outside India. Disbursement under the LoC is scheduled 48 months after the project's completion. \r
No agency commission is payable, and exporters may obtain complete details from Exim Bank's office or website.
