Fintech startup Finsall secured Rs 15 crore in a bridge round led by Unicorn India Ventures and Seafund, with other institutional investors participating. The funding will be utilized to establish an NBFC for scaling lending operations and enhancing value in insurance premium financing. Strategic partnerships with insurers, intermediaries, and lenders will also be developed. \r
Additionally, funds will support service expansion and distribution channel enhancement. CEO Tim Mathews highlighted the focus on scaling operations and creating a strong presence in the insurance premium financing sector. \r
Meanwhile, Skye Air closed its Series A round with around USD 4 million, led by Mount Judi Ventures, for expanding its last-mile network. Star Air announced new flights from Nanded to Nagpur and Pune, aiming to boost regional connectivity.
