Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First India 2025 — Cohort of 20 Chosen to Address Big Societal Challenges via Advanced AI
Google has selected 20 startups out of over 1,600 applications for its “Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First” India 2025 cohort. This three-month equity-free programme is targeted at seed to Series A startups. It offers technical mentorship, access to Google Cloud, tools like Gemini models, go-to-market guidance, infrastructure support, etc. The selected startups span domains like healthcare, climate, finance and are building with advanced AI paradigms: about 45% are working with Agentic AI, 30% with Multimodal AI, the rest on foundational models and responsible AI. Themes include addressing high-impact systemic problems in society & industry. The accelerator aligns with the IndiaAI Mission’s startup pillar. Google emphasises that these startups will be helped to move beyond initial MVPs or pilot stages and scale up for real deployment and impact.
