Google paid money to Reddit, now Reddit has banned all other search engines from its pages

Reddit has banned all other search engines from indexing its pages after Google paid the platform for search-related access. This move effectively blocks other search engines from displaying Reddit content in their search results. The restriction comes after Reddit implemented changes to its API access and introduced new policies that limited how search engines could interact with its site. This decision underscores Reddit’s strategy to prioritize its relationship with Google and control how its content is distributed across the web.
