Groww co-founders pocket over Rs 700 Cr via incentives and secondary sales
Groww’s co-founders collectively earned over Rs 700 crore through a combination of one-time incentives and secondary share sales ahead of the company’s Rs 7,000 crore IPO in 2025. The founders—Lalit Keshre, Harsh Jain, Neeraj Singh, and Ishan Bansal—received a Rs 614 crore one-time incentive under a long-term incentive plan accrued in FY24 but paid out in FY25. Additionally, they sold 1.08 crore shares worth Rs 104 crore to an affiliate of ICONIQ Capital in July 2025. Despite monetizing some holdings, the founders retain about 22% stake in Groww, which will remain under lock-in post-IPO. Groww reported a 50% revenue jump to Rs 3,902 crore in FY25 and swung to profit with Rs 1,824 crore, reversing a loss of Rs 805 crore the previous year. In Q1 FY26, revenue was Rs 904 crore with a net profit of Rs 378 crore. This financial success and founder payouts underscore strong business fundamentals and investor confidence as Groww prepares for its market debut.
