Last week witnessed a remarkable surge in market valuations, with nine out of the top-10 most-valued firms contributing to a significant increase of Rs 1,85,320.49 crore. Reliance Industries Ltd and HDFC Bank led the gains, with Reliance Industries witnessing a staggering jump of Rs 61,398.65 crore. LIC, Bharti Airtel, and Hindustan Unilever also saw substantial rallies. \r
However, ITC experienced a decline of Rs 436.97 crore in its market valuation, settling at Rs 5,44,458.70 crore. The BSE benchmark soared by 1,404.45 points, reaching an all-time intra-day high of 75,636.50 on Friday.
