HDFC Bank will upgrade its core banking system (CBS) on July 13 to improve performance, capacity, and reliability. This 13.5-hour migration, scheduled on a bank holiday, aims to minimize inconvenience. During the upgrade, customers can use debit and credit cards for transactions and ATM withdrawals, but with restricted amounts. UPI services will be unavailable from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM and 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Merchants will continue receiving card payments, with updates for previous day’s transactions available post-upgrade. Customers are advised to plan banking activities in advance.
