HealthCare Global eyes over 15% revenue growth after latest acquisition
Bengaluru-based HealthCare Global Enterprises has enhanced its cancer care dominance by acquiring a 51% stake in Vizag’s Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital for ₹208 crore, with plans to increase this stake to 85% in two tranches. Executive Chairman BS Ajai Kumar anticipates over 15% revenue growth this year and expects operational margins to exceed 20% in 2-3 years. The company will use internal accruals and debt for the first tranche and might consider a primary issue for the remaining funds. HealthCare Global, with a market capitalization of ₹5,314.98 crore and a 20% share gain over the past year, aims to expand its Bengaluru market share from 34% to 40% with new centers.
